The country of Canada is beautiful, with plains and landscape spanning for miles. The cities are close to the border, and are beautiful in their own right. These cities are also bursting with life and culture when certain holidays roll around, such as St. Jean Baptiste Day in Quebec and the Calgary Stampede in Alberta. The country, according to Statcan, has a population of 38.2 million. There are two main spoken languages, English and French. Britannica sources Canada's attribute of being sparsely populated a key part of the national identity. World Bank cites a Canadian's life expectancy at 82 years from birth. The country is religiously diverse, according to Britannica, is majority Roman Catholic.

Major Cities

Canada has many major cities. According to Geonames,the most populated is Toronto, Ontario. Other major cities include Montral, Quebec; Calgary, Alberta (also home to the Calgary Stampede!!); Ottawa, Ontario; Vancouver, British Columbia; and Surrey, British Columbia. These cities are some of the most populated, and notable names in the country.

Natural Wonders

Canada is also home to many natural wonders. The most famous is arguably Niagra Falls, which is located in the city it shares a name with: Niagra Falls, Ontario. Other natural wonders include Moraine Lake in the province of Alberta, or the Iceline Trail in British Columbia.
